Who Gets Dyslexia?
-
Dyslexia is evaluated in two situations. It occurs in preschool-aged children and is also seen in school-age children. Preschool children may have some difficulties in learning colors, shapes and numbers. On the other hand, it can be said that school-age children have difficulties in writing incompletely, inaccurately, and in expressing. Of course, it is not the right approach to diagnose a child with dyslexia based only on the symptoms, but if educators and families observe the problems we mentioned, they should definitely take the situation seriously and consult a specialist.
